Apocalypse

Jesus’ vision of himself to John the Divine was a call to endurance for Jesus’ followers. There are big players on the stage; imperial beasts and economic tyrants. Don’t turn from your faith but endure like those before. And,like Jesus we may need to suffer unto death. This study through the Apocalypse of John should do the same things it did for the original audience, foster and strengthen the Christian faith. We are not going to arrange heaven’s furniture or peak at the thermometer in hell. We shall learn to see better what is going on around us, be faithful to our call, and worship and pray with an increased urgency. Hear what the Spirit says to the churches!
