Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. - I Corinthians 16:13
Jesus calls men and he calls them to act like men. Godly men are warriors who are watchful and strong in their godly convictions. They have the hearts of poets who stand firm in their faith nurturing those under their care. House On the Rock holds the call of godly manhood highly. Such dedication calls us to invest in other faith-filled brothers, our own personal development, and chase after Godly-devotion.
The Apostle Paul challenged his apprentice Timothy to... be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops.
