Doxology

It is good, pleasant, and fitting to praise God (Psalm 147:1) Humanity's responsibility is to conduct praise to Yahweh. We are called to help all of creation, from the heavenlies above to the creepy things below, to shine a light on who God is and what he has done. Our September series intends to call each of us to a purpose higher than “going to church” but harnessing the ancient work of corporate praise. The last 5 psalms in the psalter are a closing doxology for the entire book. They each begin and close with the same command, “Praise Yah!” Each psalm will help us understand the who, why, and how of God-praise. As we grow our theology may the Spirit enable our doxology. May we praise Yah according to his excellent greatness (Psalm 150:2).
