Christmas is not about getting but what we have been given. Jesus graciously shared the life-changing message of his advent with lowly shepherds. The angelic proclamation transformed them into Christmas witnesses. We too can become such heralds to the world as we walk before God. Like the advent candles we light may we become shining beacons for peace, love, hope, and joy found in Jesus.
